New Moon In Sagittarius: Who Do I Want To Become?

I awoke this morning to a flooded kitchen. My labour saving reverse osmosis water machine had sprung a leak. I left it last night with a slow drip, a towel and a bowl to catch the water.

Of course, sense would dictate that I should have turned the water off. But as I hadn’t slept well the night before and was completely exhausted, this was the best I could do.

It was while I was mopping and thinking about tonights writing retreat that the words who do you want to become came to me. I had been thinking about the title of the blog and how Sagittarius was linked to the Solar Plexus in the chakra system. Which part of that I asked myself resonated?

Before I go on, look at these four words:

  • Confidence
  • Assertiveness
  • Personal Power
  • Identity

These are Solar Plexus keywords. Which one resonates with you?

Let’s imagine it is confidence. My question who do you want to become would tell me that there are aspects of confidence that would support what you want to experience that would support who you want to become. A more confident something… What is that?

This seems quite simple, but it’s far from that when you start to explore in your journal. Chances are it will surface all kinds of things. This is a great opportunity to explore the roots of your confidence thing.

Mine in case you are wondering is. Asserting my personal power around people who cut me off mid-sentence, do not listen to me and fight to be right.

While mopping up the mess, I vowed to no longer let these people bother me. Breathe and let go.

The emotions that come up are old friends and it is about time that these old friends left…

Ok, yeah, easier said than done, but I have set my intention, and if you know me, I am pretty bloody-minded and will stick to my promises.

In this case, letting these people bother me only hurts me. Doh!

Let me ask you again:

  • Who do you want to become?
  • What do you want to experience more of going forward?

New Moon In Sagittarius — What does this mean to you?

This is the last month of 2020 and to be honest, 2020 wasn’t my favourite year, but I have had worse. Lying in bed with a fractured spine wasn’t much fun. But odd years teach us about courage and resilience. They force us out of our comfort zones and to declutter what does not serve us. Oh, don’t they just! They also ask us what we really want is? (Cue the Spice Girls)

The Sagittarius new moon on Monday, December 14, 2020, is a total solar eclipse. Which makes it a powerful time to be thinking about what you want to manifest for the future.

  • What dreams do you have that you didn’t realise in 2020?
  • How can you let in your future hearts desires?

Dreams tell us a lot about who we are. My invitation is for you is to connect to your wild inner child. The one that has no filters on his or her imagination and ask what are my three wildest dreams.

Here are mine:

  • To write a brilliant, first, bestselling novel which gets turned into a film and helps me to become rich beyond my wildest dreams.
  • To fly in a spaceship around the Earth, so that I could witness it from all angles and perspectives.
  • To sing on stage at Wembley, clad in rock chick leather gear, wowing the audience with the power and meaning of my songs.

I can see all three really clearly in my mind’s eye. Even if you are not visual, use your main communications style and be in the experience.

Now in case, you are thinking I so shallow wanting to be rich beyond my wildest dreams. Or crazy to think that I could fly around Earth and I know you are laughing at the rock chick because you heard me singing in the shower. Let me explain…

All of these dreams mean something else. Yes, I am starting work on my first novel soon, and yes, the person I want to become is more of a creative writer. But the rest is about how I can be of more service in the world. There is something that says to me, with more cash, I can help more people.

I am truly saddened by what I have seen this year. People who can no longer sustain their business or job. People who now have no money or benefits to put food on the table and to pay the bills. I could go on, I have two rescue dogs, what about the lack of funds for the extra abandoned animals? There’s more, you know there is.

Flying around the Earth that is me wanting to become the person who does see more than one perspective. I think I do, but I want to be a better person.

And Wembley. I want my words to touch the hearts of others and inspire them.

So let your inner child letting rip…

Try it. Write down 3 of your wildest dreams, leave them and then look deeper. Go out your journal and explore.

The new moon in Sagittarius and the solar eclipse

This new moon in Sagittarius combined with a total solar eclipse, is bringing in big changes. A solar eclipse is when the new moon passes directly between the sun and the Earth, blocking out the sun’s light completely.

This is your call to block what you don’t want, what is no longer part of who you are or want to become. To stop, look and listen and to then act on what you intuitively know is who you want to become — as you step into the new, fresh light of the sun — your sun.

Let’s start to say goodbye to 2020

Whatever you have experienced in 2020 it is now time to start to say goodbye, au revoir or adios.

You may be ready for a new beginning, which is what I am asking you to think about, but to truly do that you have to let go, which will do on the next full moon.

Emotions could be strong this week, so practice radical self-love and self-care.

Join me on my end of year writing retreat — let in the new and let go of the old.
